The inspiration behind this design is the Swiss artist and sculptor Alberto Giacometti, who is one of my favorite artists. Giacometti was a key player in the Surrealist art movement, but his work resists any definitive categorization. He is known for his bronze abstracted figures, which was the perfect inspiration for this design. I love when an abstracted design comes to life upon closer inspection. That is the inspiration behind “Puzzle People”.
