Learning to Love Lavender

I am not going to lie, I have never been a big fan of the color lavender. BUT, as I used to tell my kids, never say never, because never is a long time! Seeing this gorgeous photo, changed my mindset and I am inspired now to paint these lovely tones that somehow illicit a tranquil, soothing feeling while still inhabiting a wonderful sense of playful color.
