When Life Unexpectedly Imitates Art

When I sold this painting, the collector that bought it asked me to write what I was feeling when I created this piece. So, for the first time, I wrote an artist’s statement for one of my paintings (see below):

Miraculously, one month after I wrote my artist’s statement I found myself up on a mountaintop in Baja California Sur, Mexico living my painting. It was truly an unexpected, magical and spiritual moment to fully experience such beauty and serenity, and one that I will always treasure!
